Lately I've been feeling a bit down. I don't want to start my post off on a depressing note but I feel as though I'm receiving little validation for all my efforts. I've been holding onto the idea that I shouldn't give up, because great things take time, but damn can a girl get some sparkle in her life! Maybe I'm just PMS'n or maybe it's just that my birthday is coming up and I'm getting old. Oh the problems us girls face haha .. Anywhoo, here is a casual look from the other day. Happy Friday! The weather has cooled down a bit, so today I decided to wear some pantalones : P 

I'm sporting my Coachella 2014 tee ; I love that it looks like a rock band shirt. The shirt and the super cute crossbody that I purchased in Tokyo add edgy elements to this simple all black ootd. XO

DESERT OBSESSED

Hello Friends.

A girlfriend and I decided to make a quick trip to palm springs. The intent was to relax and get our tan on. Clearly that was a fail, it was so hot, I could barely lay out; I'm still pasty as ever. The entire drive up, I thought to myself this is a perfect photo op. In fact, Palm Springs is entirely a perfect backdrop for so many photos. The palm trees, the desert rocks, the open air, the vintage architecture, the pools, it's all so bohemian! Perhaps I'm still in Coachella mode, because all I can think about is knits, kimonos and all things white. Here is a desert inspired look, let me know what you think?!! XO

Intimates seem to be the thing right now! Everyone is wearing their undies and slips out and I love it! Why not be at your most comfy? Not only is it sexy but its easy too. Love this dress so much, it feels as though I'm wearing a slip, but I think I pull it off well as a dress. The only con to wearing undergarment-like materials is that they get so wrinkly! XO

It's been so hot out lately, that I haven't wanted to wear any clothes haha. . . It's too hot for clothes!

Don't you just love rompers?!!! It's almost a lazy way of getting dressed. I picked this little beauty up at the Lovers + Friends sample sale awhile back. I love it so much! It is so comfortable, yet it looks dressed up. The print is so vibrant and lively. I love the color, it adds a certain boldness to the otherwise girly floral print. On hot days like this, easy breezy rompers like this one, are the way to go! XO
