I don't know why I haven't posted this OOTD, but here it is! It's fall now, and I'm still not able to really sport a sweater or coat in LA, so I would consider this look a fall inspired one. Although, I've been in Seattle all weekend, and it rained while I was gone. It's ironic that while I was in Seattle, it didn't rain at all. I guess I brought the sunshine with me! That's so 70s

I bought these jeans in Barcelona and I'm super stoked on them. Denim is the hot thing right now and  the 70s patchwork denim trend is making it's way back too! Actually this season, the 70's are back in full effect and I love it! This comeback is so rad, I can't get enough of all the crochet, the suede, the bell bottoms, backpacks and now the patches too. I really like the cutesy patches on these, and not to mention the great wash. That watermelon patch though (emoji with heart eyes!) What's your favorite fashion comeback?

My 20's are almost over..

Some of you may already know, that I just had a birthday. I tend to usually go all out, and make a big hooplah out of the damn thang. I must say that this year, the certain excitement that you get when your bday approaches, just wasn't there. I guess it just comes with getting older. The older you get, the less fuss you want to make haha. This years birthday was very quiet and mellow. I celebrated my 29th birthday, which means that this is the last year of my 20's. They say your 20's are your selfish years, your learning years, your best years.. Reflecting on them thus far only makes me crave accomplishing much more before 30 hits me. I've been compiling a 30 before 30 list that I intend to complete before then. Stay tuned, I shall be posting it very soon! XO

#HOLLYWEIRD

I sometimes feel like an outsider in the city that I grew up in. About a year or so after I finished high school, I moved to Orange County with my family. My early 20s were spent in a city that was nothing like LA. I wasn't much of a beach girl, yet I lived in a city that thrived on that beach life. Although it was an entirely different way to spend my early 20's, It was still wonderful! There are so many great things about Orange County, but I was always an LA girl at heart. I always knew I'd find my way back and here I am rediscovering my beautiful city. LA has so much life and character; it never disappoints. Even when I revisit some of my fav places, it's always a new experience. What are some of your favorite LA spots? XO

Shopping Season

Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving! The holiday season has definitely begun! This time of year is always so warm and cheerful. The decorations, the scents, the people, the presents, it is just a happier month! The shopping is always more fun too. I like the presents; giving them and receiving them. I have to get started on my holiday shopping... I am Jewish but celebrate both Hannukah and Christmas, so it's crunch time for me! On black friday, I managed to buy a bunch of gifts for the babies, but I'm still on the hunt for the perfect gifts for my loved ones! Cyber Monday is a good start?! Lets get to shopping.. XO

I woke up like dis

Today for some reason I woke up early. Early, as in 8am early is super rare for me. If I get out of bed and start my day before noon, it is a great accomplishment. I don't know if it is because I had a good nights rest or because I woke up really thirsty that I was able to wake at that hour. Also I ate a banana and I hate bananas... I wonder what the rest of the day has in store for me :) XO

Are Crops for me?

I loved this top when I bought it. So much so that I also bought it in black. I've had it for about 3 months now and this is the first time I wear it. It is a rather boxy fit and I'm not sure if it flatters me. Are crops made for certain body types? What do you guys think? I have come to the realization that I have purchased many crop tops but have not worn them. Perhaps they are just not for me?! XO

Flannel Season Returns

I haven't posted these pictures yet because I feel like I look a bit heavier in them. I'd never worn the crop top before and in an effort to wear things I have not worn yet, I thought it was a cute fit with these high waisted jeans. I'm not so sure I loved it. In the end, I thought I looked too busty and that is perhaps the reason I never got around to wearing it. Also flannels are the thing lately! Flannels always seem to make their way back around the holidays. I always break mine out around this time. I'm thinking I need a new one? Speaking of the holidays, I've already been thinking of the many things I want to add to my wish list this year. I'm seriously a shopaholic (emoji covering it's eyes!!!)

So minimalist is the trending fashion right now. I've always been an all black or white kinda girl, it's funny how it's all of a sudden the thing to do. Nevertheless I like it, it makes it much easier to find pieces I love! I gotta say I'm really stoked on my earrings in this post! I've been looking for this style earring for some time and when I saw that BaubleBar carried them, I immediately purchased them! They are so classic and feminine and above all a stud type earring, which is my fav. I heart everything about this look!  XO

Dismal Days

Lately I've been feeling a bit down. I don't want to start my post off on a depressing note but I feel as though I'm receiving little validation for all my efforts. I've been holding onto the idea that I shouldn't give up, because great things take time, but damn can a girl get some sparkle in her life! DVF LOVE

I finally got around to visiting the DVF Journey of a Dress exhibit and let me tell you..what an incredible exhibit it was! I fell in love with every single inch of that place! I was taken away by how visually stimulated I was. The color, the neon, the patterns, the artwork, the history, the fashion, it was heaven! I encourage you to check it out before it ends, I know I'll be going back again hehe.. XO
