Pussycat Doll

Sunday, May 3, 2015

I basically live in this Moto jacket. I wear it almost everyday, it's my most fav thing right now. A great Motorcycle jacket is a must, it adds a certain edginess to any outfit. I particularly love that this one is a crop. It isn't heavy and is great for the CALI weather. Surprisingly, a classic black leather jacket can be very versatile. I wear mine for daytime looks as well as night time ones. For more inspo on how to sport a Moto jacket, check out my Pinterest boards! Gotta love the Pinterest, it always helps inspire me to wear things differently than I normally would. Anyways, here is a capture of me casually walking around melrose.. Isn't this kitty cat wall the cutest!!! XO

Shirt Dress

Thursday, March 26, 2015

I've been obsessed with these heels since Valentine's day. I just think they are the cutest! I love the pop of color they add.  Here is a quick snap of yesterday's outfit. It was so hot in LA, that this white shirt dress seemed like the perfect ootd. It's hard to want to wear anything really, I just want to lay at the beach all day! I have a major travel bug right now. I'm seriously craving a vacation somewhere beachy! What about you guys, where do you want to travel next? XO

Oh please BE MINE

Friday, February 6, 2015

Just thinking about Valentine's Day has got me lusting for all things hearts, red, pink, and lovely! Customarily, your supposed to be looking for gifts for your partner... oopsy

(Note: You can click on the photos for links and be a shopaholic like me. )

Gosh, these sandals have been on my wishlist for quite some time now. They are just too cute! A good pair of flats is a must, because lets be honest who roams the city in their heels all day? Gotta take care of those feet, and why not give them some love with these bad boys hahaha.

I don't own a pair of pink heels. These would be perfect don't you think? Pink is like one of my fav colors; I'm so confused as to why I don't already own a pair. These are so affordable and really classic. For some reason, I feel like they give off a Sarah Jessica Parker vibe.

A red dress seems like appropriate attire for Valentines day. I love these two picks so much. They exude sexy and are both the perfect pop of red! I actually tried the strapless ForLoveandLemons dress on in black and fell in love with it, but now that I see it in red, it's got me thinking I wanna be the lady in red. I also think red works better on brunettes.

I threw a white dress in the mix because who wants to be basic and like everyone else. This dainty little number is so girly and feminine, and is perfect for a little Vday outing. Pair it with those pink heels and you've got magic!

Red nail polish is a staple and go big or go home, right?  I'm so curious about Christian Louboutin's nail polish line. Is it worth the  $ ???

Can't do Valentine's day without a little lingerie. If you don't already own a naughty number, there are probably many other options that would suit the occasion better, but this  seemed so cutesy to me and I just love it!

Well there you have it, a  list of wants  that I LOVE.  I hope your Valentine spoils you, and if he doesn't why not spoil yourself... YOU DESERVE IT!

XOXO

Pleather Please

Monday, February 2, 2015

I was super anxious for the end of January to arrive. I took a trip to VEGAS!!! It was not only Super Bowl weekend but it was also (the boyfriend) Gabriel's 30th Birthday. He chose Vegas for the sports and the gambling. Yes, Vegas is great for that, but I love the idea that it's Sin City. I can win money, eat at expensive restaurants, stay at a schnazy hotel, all the while looking fabulous. The dressing up aspect is the fun part to me. I can't wait to fill you in on all the Vegas outfit deets! I literally just got back from Vegas and although I'm exhausted, I'm still on Vegas time. I'm wide awake and doing a lot of thinking about all the posts I'd like to do this month. In the meantime, here is a casual look from last week that I neglected to post. This almost head to toe pleather look was perfect for the gloomy LA weather last week. XO

#SundayVibes

Monday, January 26, 2015

I know it's officially monday now but can we talk sunday hahaha... Sunday's outfit came together so quickly. I woke up knowing exactly what I wanted to wear. I love it when that happens; sometimes it's nice not having to change a million times before finally achieving a look that you love. Following suit with the last post, I opted for a collared white blouse today. The high waisted shorts worked out perfectly for the 80 degree weather, and the leather crop jacket has been my go-to since I purchased it. I thought the handbag's pop of color was a perfect touch to the monochrome look. The amazing cherry red handbag was gifted to me for Christmas by my lovely boyfriend. I love it so much! I seriously felt like a bad ass in this outfit. It's crazy how an outfit can boost your confidence and make you feel great. XO

Nasty Gal

Tuesday, November 25, 2014

I attended the Nasty Gal Melrose opening this past friday. I asked almost all of my girlfriends to attend this with me but no luck; I went alone.  It was a bit depressing watching all the girls around me with their besties enjoying themselves. It really made me realize that I have not one friend that truly loves fashion like I do. My friends are uninterested in what collection is about to launch, or anything of that nature. I blog because I love it, but it would be nice to share these experiences with someone who also enjoys it. On a happier note, I got to meet the GIRLBOSS herself!  I thought it was pretty cool that she spent the day at the store opening meeting all her customers and fans! She signed my book!
I almost didn't go because the idea of waiting in long ass lines for hours on end is a total deterrent, but in the end I'm glad I did. I mean c'mon...I would of missed out on my opportunity to meet Sophia! I was excited at the prospect of free goodies and rad clothes too! As far as goodies and discounts go, It was a bit of a let down. They passed out a few scratchers, but not to everyone. I was not one of the lucky few to receive any freebies.
The store was amazing! I loved the fitting room area! Mirrored everything and how awesome that inside each fitting room you can see everything happening on the outside as well. I bought a cropped leather jacket, some high waisted leather leggings and a sexy black midi style dress. I wanted to buy the entire store! I definitely foresee this store being trouble for me and my bank account!

I'm Cobalt Blue

Saturday, November 22, 2014

I have 54 published blog posts so far for the year. It seems unlikely that I will reach 100 post by the end of the year, however I'll shoot for 75 and anything thereafter I'll consider great. I literally sit on Instagram and spend hours comparing myself to other bloggers. It's not that I want to be them, it's that I know I am them and I'm not applying myself. I waste my days away... Anyways as far as this post goes, I broke out this cobalt jumpsuit that I've barely worn. It is the only article of clothing that I own that is solely cobalt blue. I think that it looks great paired with this cropped leather jacket. I used to be afraid of wearing blue with black. I used to think it was a rule or something, but now I just think wear what you like lady! :P
